It all starts with you. You bring your drawing or we start from one of our collections, and before anything else we ask about the space: the exact measurements, whether it gets full sun, whether a table will sit on it, where people walk most. Those answers shape the drawing, the colours, the pile height and the fibre. Nothing is decided without you.

Before a single knot is woven you see your finished rug on screen, applied to your own project. This is the moment to change whatever you want: a colour that is not quite right, the proportion, the size. The loom is not set until you give the go-ahead.

The approved design is printed at full size and laid out in the workshop. It lets us check on the floor, at 1:1 scale, that the proportions and measurements are exactly the ones you asked for.

Your rug is woven by hand in India, using the technique we chose together for your project. Artisans with decades of craft and looms passed down through generations. This is the piece fresh off the loom.

By hand, thread by thread: the pile height is levelled, the reliefs are carved with shears and the drawing is gone over inch by inch. This is the step that separates a correct rug from a well-made one.

The complete piece, reviewed in full before it leaves the workshop: measurements, colour, density and finish. If anything falls short, it does not travel.

We lay and fit the piece on site, anywhere in the world. This is how the process ends: your rug, in your place, exactly as you imagined it.
Your choice
At Hotel Marbella Club, the same interlocking-circle pattern dresses two suites: one in orange, the other in blue, each matching its upholstery. The design stays; the client chooses the palette.
Bespoke carpet
As well as rugs, we make bespoke wall-to-wall carpet: it covers the room from wall to wall, is made to the exact size of each room and carries whatever design the project calls for, often with matching rugs laid on top. Any design you can imagine can be made real.

We also design and make stair runners. Every project is made to measure, fitted to the steps, turns and landings; together we choose the design, the colours and the finish.
